Welcome to the Study Program Division Nutrition!
The Study Program Division Nutrition is located at the largest campus of the Technische Universität München, the TUM School of Life Sciences Weihenstephan. With its strong strategic network in research and education, Weihenstephan is renowned as a global “brand” for life and food sciences.
At the Study Program Division of Nutrition, we are dedicated to innovative and interdisciplinary research and education. Our work addresses a broad variety of questions relating to the effect of diet on human metabolism. We integrate expert knowledge and state-of-the-art technologies from multiple disciplines in order to investigate the development, prevention and treatment of nutrition-related diseases.
Our undergraduate and graduate degree programs reflect this cross-disciplinary orientation. The Bachelor in Nutritional Science enables students to examine and evaluate nutrition-related issues by applying a wide variety of research methods. Launched in 2012, the Master in Nutrition and Biomedicine covers aspects of nutritional science, human biology, and medicine. It is the first English graduate program of its kind in Germany.
